The motto of our school is “Strength through Faith and Knowledge” and this is reflected in our Mission Statement. Faith Our faith in Jesus Christ and our belief in his Gospel are the foundation of our work in this community. The education of our students in the Catholic Faith and the ongoing support of our parents in the faith development of their children are our primary concern. Knowledge The task of a school is to educate, and so our mission is to provide an education of the highest possible standard for our students, using the resources available to us. Our Mission Statement 2005 - 2008 In 2004 the school produced a new five year Mission Statement in consultation with all sections of the community. This responded to the challenges of our society, new developments, in education, and an ever deepening understanding of our role as the only Catholic secondary school in Launceston. All parents, students, teachers and members of the extended St Patrick’s College community are called to be part of its implementation to provide quality Catholic education for our students.
