On the evening of Saturday October 10th, the Year 12 Class of 1995 gathered at the Boathouse, Launceston to celebrate their 20 year reunion. The reunion was also open to any other students from the year group that may have left along the way.
For some the reunion started earlier in the day at the SPC campus with Adrian Viney hosting a lighthearted walk around the St Patrick's College grounds and corridors. Much of the campus was still recognisable from school days past - much was not. However, the site of old classrooms and photos conjured up many stories and many more laughs along the way. Needless to say it was an enjoyable trip down memory lane!
The evening festivities were adorned with old school photos (plenty of vintage bowl cuts on the boys and gallons of hairspray on the girls), replica Valedictory Books and some sweet 90s tunes.
A big shout out needs to go to those that travelled from far and wide to attend. With some late call ups on the night the numbers swelled to 40 and I think most would agree it was a fantastic catch up.
See you all and more at the 25 year reunion!
