Advocacy

Our College is committed to the reconciliation with and empowerment of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members of our College and community.  We celebrate our Indigenous heritage and culture by acknowledging the country upon which we stand at each assembly and liturgy.

If you have come to help me, you are wasting your time.  If you have come because your liberation is bound up with mine, then let us work together.

— Lilla Watson, a Gangulu woman

Our College is committed to the reconciliation with and empowerment of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members of our College and community.  We celebrate our Indigenous heritage and culture by acknowledging the country upon which we stand at each assembly and liturgy.  We celebrate Apology Day, National Reconciliation Week, Sorry Day and NAIDOC Week. Additionally, we support our Indigenous students to extend their cultural knowledge through engagement with local organisations and Elders.
