St Patrick’s College is committed to meaningful reconciliation with, and the empowerment of, Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander students, families and community members. We value Aboriginal cultural knowledge and teachings as integral to who we are as a learning community.

This commitment is expressed through the acknowledgement of Country at assemblies and liturgies, the recognition of significant events including National Sorry Day, National Reconciliation Week, Apology Day and NAIDOC Week, and learning experiences that embed Aboriginal perspectives.

The College actively supports First Nations students in strengthening their cultural identity through engagement with local Aboriginal organisations, Knowledge Holders, and Elders. We recognise reconciliation as an ongoing journey and commit to walking this path with respect, responsibility and action.
