Inclusive Learning

Our Inclusive Learning team provides a whole-school support network, coordinating differentiated programs that adapt to the unique strengths and challenges of our students. The team coordinates the identification of educational needs, establishes individualised mentoring frameworks, and provides teachers with the professional guidance needed to deliver differentiated programs in every classroom.

Services are available through a referral process, where teachers and parents can refer a student, and students are also encouraged to self-refer.

Multi-Disciplinary Support

We cater to a diverse range of abilities through a collaborative model of identification, monitoring, and intervention. Support is available for:

• High-potential learners requiring extension or acceleration.
• Students with disabilities needing specific adjustments.
• Learners facing challenges with curriculum, social, or emotional barriers.

Learning Support

Students identified with specific needs in Literacy or Numeracy are supported through differentiation in the classroom, and:

• Specialised Classes: Enrollment options for Developmental Mathematics and English.
• Literacy Blocks: Sessions at least once per fortnight, focused on the explicit teaching of reading and writing.
• Intensive Intervention: 1:1 or 1:3 Intensive Reading programs for students with high-level literacy needs.
• Free Tuition: Qualified teachers provide free after-school tuition for homework help, intervention, or enrichment.
• External Partnerships: We actively engage with external agencies and community groups to enrich our College programs.

Enrichment

The team is committed to engaging high-potential, high-achieving and gifted students through developmentally appropriate and engaging programs. This is achieved at a whole school, class and extracurricular program level through:

• Differentiated Learning Programs: Teachers adjust content, process, product and environment to meet specific high-level needs.
• Opportunities Beyond the Classroom: We actively seek opportunities for students to pursue and develop their areas of passion, giftedness and talent.
• Dedicated Resources: A dedicated Schoolbox group provides a hub that includes competitions, challenges and mentoring opportunities for all students who would benefit from these.
