Strength through Faith and Knowledge.

The College Motto reflects our commitment to a holistic, inclusive and Christ-centred education that provides opportunity for each student to learn the skills, knowledge and values in order to thrive in a changing world.

Our College Crest, designed by staff and students and introduced in 1985, combines elements of the three Catholic college crests that once existed in Launceston. The crest is dominated by the number three, reflecting the earlier history of the emerging three Colleges:

The Cross
Represents the Christian faith as the fundamental cornerstone of the College.
The Triangle
The three sides represent the union of our founding orders and the three colleges that merged to form the present-day St Patrick's College.

The Circle
Running through the triangle, the circle depicts the eternal unity of the three combined Colleges.
The Flames
The three flames at the centre represent the enduring influence of the Holy Spirit on our three founding orders.
The Chain
Symbolises the College motto: "Strength through Faith and Knowledge."
