Leadership is defined by service to the community.

Our leadership program is designed to encourage students to discover their special interests, model appropriate behavior, and lead by example.

Leadership Pathways

We encourage leadership development from the very start of a student's journey at the College. Opportunities include core captain positions and the Leadership Collective in the Middle School, the Croagh Patrick Community Committee at Year 9, and the Aspiring and Emerging Leaders groups in Years 10 and 11 respectively.

Students are also selected to lead as captains of sports teams and cultural activities.

Year 12s and the Student Executive

Year 12 students form the senior leadership group of the school, setting the tone for the student body.

The Student Executive, comprising Year 12 students, is central to College life, assisting in the planning and running of special events, assemblies, and functions. This group includes:

  • College Captains: Two captains elected by staff and students and appointed by the Principal.
  • House Captains: Leaders representing the four school Houses
  • Community Captains: Focused on broader community engagement and service.
