IMPORTANT COVID UPDATE RE: EXTENDED RESTRICTIONS TO FRIDAY, 23 JULY

The College has just been advised that Public Health has extended the restrictions on staff, students and parents/guardians currently in Tasmania who were in Victoria or South Australia on or since 8 July 2021 and are not subject to quarantine requirements. Further to the advice emailed to parents/guardians on Monday, 19 July:

Any student or parent/guardian currently in Tasmania who has been in Victoria or South Australia on or since 8 July and is not subject to quarantine requirements must:

- Limit their movement in the community
- Avoid attendance at any type of gathering which includes schools
- Wear a face mask when in public (does not apply to students under the age of 12 years).

These requirements are now applicable until midnight on Friday, 23 July 2021 and all students and parents/guardians affected must not attend the College campus until next Monday. If parents/guardians have previously contacted the College to advise their child/ren are restricted from attending, this leave will automatically be extended until Friday.

Further to the above, those whom the above requirements apply:

- Are not required at this time to undertake a COVID-19 test unless symptoms develop or further advice is provided by Public Health.
- Should monitor themselves for any cold or flu symptoms and arrange a COVID-19 test if they develop any symptoms – even mild.
- Should monitor the Tasmanian government's COVID-19 website for any change to the list of high-risk premises list which may alter their quarantine status
- anyone who has spent time at any of the high-risk premises at the specified dates and times must self-isolate immediately and call the Public Health Hotline on 1800 671 738 for further advice.

We thank you in anticipation of your understanding.
