Applicants for teaching positions must be registered as a teacher with the Teachers Registration Board of Tasmania or be able to obtain this registration before their employment commencement date. Applicants for all other positions must have or be eligible for registration to hold a child-related position within the Tasmanian Catholic Education System (involving a National police record check).

DRAMA/COSTUME DEPARTMENT - TEACHER ASSISTANT

Ongoing Part Time | 24 Hours Per Fortnight | Commencing 28 January 2020 

An outstanding opportunity exists for a part time Drama/Costume Department - Teacher Assistant to provide specialist support to the Drama Department, with particular emphasis on Costumes, on an ongoing part time 24 hour per fortnight basis.

Particularly suiting applicants with a background in Drama, Theatre and The Arts, the role involves coordinating the costume needs of Drama teachers by sourcing, sorting, categorising, storing, repairing and maintaining costumes, props and other relevant materials. In addition, the successful applicant will provide practical support for Drama teachers and students in both curriculum and co-curricular settings and, as appropriate, share technical theatre knowledge, skills and experience.

LIBRARY TECHNICIAN

Full Time | Temporary | January - April 2020 

A suitably qualified, industrious and team orientated Library Technician is sought to assist with the provision of outstanding library and information service in the Mary MacKillop Library in order to meet the information and educational needs of the students and staff of St Patrick’s College.

Specifically, the Library Technician will be responsible for providing guidance and assistance to the clients of the library, library collection maintenance, including cataloguing, and circulation of library resources.
