Home of Year 9

Croagh Patrick is a two-storey campus designed specifically for the Year 9 experience. This self-contained campus is designed to give Year 9 students a sense of independence and community as they transition toward their senior years.

Croagh Patrick Facilities

The building is centered around ten classrooms arranged in pairs. Each pair is joined by a retractable wall, allowing for seamless team teaching and collaborative projects between paired Homegroups.

The learning environment is enhanced by flexible breakout spaces located throughout the building. These areas provide students with room to work independently, facilitate small group discussions, or engage in self-directed study away from the main classroom setting.

The campus is equipped with specialised facilities to support a diverse curriculum, including:

  • The Suzuki Science Lab: A dedicated space for practical scientific discovery.
  • Kitchen & Kiosk: A functional hub used for curriculum cooking subjects, outreach activities, and the catering of Year 9 events by the students themselves.
  • Orana Hall: The campus’s primary gathering space for whole-of-year activities. This versatile space also features retractable walls that can divide the room into three separate learning areas for Drama, Dance, and Art.
  • The Oratory: A quiet space used for personal reflection as well as an additional learning area.

Integrated Learning

Croagh Patrick balances academic life with practical and outdoor spaces. The campus includes a bush block, labyrinth, outdoor gym and horticultural space providing students with unique opportunities for outdoor learning, reflection and environmental engagement.
